Cleaning medical pads is a simple and easy task if done the right way. Vinyl is generally durable and resistant to dirt, soil, and water. If maintained properly, it can be resilient and will last for many years. On the other hand, if not cared for, it will wear and eventually deteriorate.

The steps below can aide you in your care of vinyl covered medical pads:

Maintenance Suggestions:

  • For Soil or Stains: use neutral soap suds and lukewarm water. Rinse with water and allow drying. Do
  • not use harsh cleaners, solvents or detergents.
  • For Hard to Clean Spots: Use standard household/vinyl cleansers and/or a soft bristle brush on
  • troublesome spots or stains. Pre-soak heavy, dried-on soil.
  • Disinfection: Dilute disinfectants and/or germicides as specified on the product label.
